Waterfall Rappelling and Canyoneering in Asheville since 2006. Pura Vida Adventures is the only American Canyoneering Association accredited school in the eastern United States. Since 2006 we have taught thousands of people how to rappel as well as learn the advanced canyoneering techniques necessary to become an independent and competent canyoner.  We offer both private customized classes as well as open classes of 2 and 3 days in length.

Over the years our students have gone on to complete canyons throughout the United States and around the world.  Some of the places our students have been include Zion National Park, Arizona, Utah, Patagonia, Puerto Rico, Italy, and Spain.

Pura Vida Adventures is excited to offer both beginner and advanced waterfall rappelling and canyoneering courses in the Asheville, North Carolina this spring.  The classes take place in Brevard North Carolina about 30-45 minutes from Asheville.  Experience the thrill of waterfall rappelling in Pisgah National Forest, the land of waterfalls.

Guided Canyoneering Trips from Beginner to Advanced are available for groups of two or more year round.

Beginner Programs includes Cove Creek Canyon and Gauntlet Canyon. A few of the more advanced canyon trips are Cedar full Descent and the popular Big Bradley adventure canyoneering program.

Private instruction for one person start at$250 for 4 hour, 1/2 day session and $400 for a 7-8 hour full day session. Prices may vary based on time of year.
