Rock Climbing: Experience Rock Climbing on one of the areas most iconic features Looking Glass Rock. Looking Glass provides excellent climbing opportunities for any one from beginner to experienced. Spend the morning, on a steep approach hike of about 1.5 miles then learn proper climbing techniques and scale walls from 45- 100 ft in height. Catch breathtaking views of the Pisgah National Forest from the top of the climbs. Finish the morning session with a 1.5 mile hike back to the truck where your lunch awaits.

Pisgah National Forest has been recognized by many as one of the best places to mountain bike east of the Mississippi River. The beginner/intermediate single track of Cove Creek Trail located in Pisgah National Forest is not for the faint of heart, but it is a great ride for anyone looking for a bit of an adrenaline fix. The long downhill single track trail will allow participants to experience minimal climbing while cruising through “Mountain Biking heaven”. The trip also allows participants to visit multiple waterfalls along the route providing some showering opportunities.
