Pura Vida Mountain Adventure Guides was established in Brevard, North Carolina in 2006.  Our company is one of the longest running rock climbing, mountain biking, and waterfall rappelling guide services in the area.  Our canyoneering programming has twice been recognized by National Geographic and we are the only company offering American Canyoneering Association classes in the eastern United States. Our guides have led programs around the world, but North Carolina is our home.  We learned our skills in the Appalachian region and have had the opportunity to practice and teach them throughout the the United States and the world.
